Pat Millar is the Managing Director and founder of Clarion Consulting, a leading Business and IT consulting company. Pat leads a team of Business and IT professionals, dedicated to helping organisations to manage change and improve their operational efficiency and competitive advantage through the re–engineering of business processes and the deployment of practical IT solutions.
Prior to founding Clarion Consulting, Pat worked for a number of large organisations in Ireland and Europe including Kao Infosystems (now trading as Zomax), KPMG and Dun and Bradstreet Software. Pat has over 20 years’ experience assisting customers across a range of industry sectors. He has expertise in Organisational Change, Program and Project Management, Business and IT Strategy Definition and Business Process Re-engineering. He has designed and managed a number of significant transformation programs.
Pat specialises in working at board level with a number of large public and private sector organisations assisting them in defining and implementing strategies to improve their organisational agility.
In addition to an MBA, Pat has a Diploma in Managing IT for Business Value from IVI, NUI Maynooth a Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching from Michael Smurfit Business School, UCD and a Certificate (Distinction) and Diploma in Company Direction as part of the Institute of Directors’ Chartered Director Program. He is Certified in Production and Inventory Management by APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) and is a Certified Prince2 Practitioner.
He is a member of the Institute of Directors and a former President of the Institute of Business Analysts and Consultants.
